Absolutely terrible and unprofessional.

I initial began purchasing a queen bed (9/17) and mattress at the mount Vernon location, put it on protection hold and a few month later the store was going out of business) (11/17) no one informed me but whatever. So they sold out of my queen set despite it being on protection , so the manager then "upgraded " me to king size for a fee extra bucks . Again I added protection . The mount Vernon store closed and moved a a different location and upon arrival to that location once again my items and no where to be found (5/18)Don't waste your time or money. The stores will continue to have had business because there unprofessional. And they refuse to give my money back now there's nothing left to do but employ my lawyer.

Damaged my property/pissed customer

I brought a couch, mattress an boxspring from the Express furniture warehouse on Myrtle Avenue in Brooklyn yesterday. (1/18/18) During the delivery I told them the goes mattresses goes downstairs. Shortly afterwards one of the delivery people comes upstairs an told me they broke my wall. I called the company. They had already closed for the day. I called back the next morning an explained what happened. I also sent an email an pictures showing the damage that was done. The delivery people straight up an lied an said I was there when it happened. First of all. I was upstairs. My daughter an sister was there when it happened. Directing them where they go. Then one of the delivery persons came upstairs an told me my wall was broken. Yet, the boxspring remained on the stairs. For a while. While they tried to convince me to pay an have someone break it an bring it though. But, they had never mention this before they had broken my wall. An why would I pay for that? When they had already broken the wall. An I'm already paying a 120 dollar delivery fee. Then they have the nerve to tell me that there nothing they can do. Cause I signed the papers for the delivery.

Horrible, Poor Customer Service; Just Don't Bother

I've been trying to get them on the phone to tell them that one of my recliners doesn't work at all. They told me about straps and I checked and told them it doesn't work. The manager keeps telling me she'll call back. I realized that it didn't work the following day after delivery but they're closed on Sundays. I called Monday and told them and after checking for these straps they said call back if that doesn't help. I did! Afterwards they said call on Thursday and they'll send a driver out, I did and she said she'd call me back but nothing. They keep giving me the run around! Did I mention that they originally delivered the wrong product to me? I'm so upset and disappointed, I couldn't even find a proper corporate number for the company!

HEY THIS IS ROGER FROM EXPRESS FURNIUTURE WAREHOUSE BRONX LOCATION I DO REMEMBER TALKING TO YOU IN REGARDS TO THE ONE RECLINER NOT WORKING..IN WHICH I DO APOLOGIZE THAT THE MANAGER DIDNT GET BACK TO YOU..BUT WE RECEIVE ALOT OF CALLS AND SOME TIME THE MANAGER LOSES TRACK OF CALLS..THE BEST ADVICE I WOULD GIVE YOU IS TO COME IN STORE SO THE MANAGER CAN RECTIFY YOUR SITUATION...

Bought funiture that got to me damge

I bought furniture had to wait 3weeks before I got it. When it did come it was damage whole in two places the delivery man knew it when he put it together A two piece The two guys ran out so fast. When I notice it I called the store long story still waiting for them to take back and give me another one a whole lot of story's and I have insurance. Don't buy from them waiting for consumers affair to get back to me

I purchased sofa and loveseat . It was defective . I got the complete run around from the manager for a solution . I waited four months and John handle my situation defection set . He arranged someone to evaluate the set. He arranged paperwork with the higher up. I got a new set . I am so happy with my new set . Every morning I look at my living room and I am amazed how happy I am and beautiful they are . Thank you John you are my BEST!!!!! They are fortunate to have you as their manager. You are a great asset to this company . Thanks John

I bought a table, two stools and a sofa set upon delivery the sofa set could not even fit through my door , i call to tell them know that all the items where not delivered and the first thing they told me was that they don't give refunds but they offer a breakdown service that is an additional charge of $136 per piece of furniture or I could get store credit that only lasted for 30 days, word cant express my disappointment and angry I am at this company.

Items purchased were not all delivered. Sales rep never stated "store crefit only"!! I have videos of my experience due to sharing posdible purchade with family. The Asst. Manager was rude and argumentive. The Asst. Manager refused to send a secind delivery for missing items. The delivery person(s) refused to return were only concerned for getting paid and did poor job reassemblying my sofa. The coffee table was scratched, it is only "pressed wood" which creates a string possibility that it will not endure over an acceptable course of time. I was provided an email that was undeliverable. I have called since the date of purchase all employees reported the Store Manager was out. The fax number would only ring out. After 4 days, my calls would be disconnected. Your website link to add photos/add video will not upload my attachments. I will pursue legal action for recivery and lodge complaints with the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs.

Paid cash for a living room, dining set and delvery fee and was promised it would be delivered on the same day. I called the morning of the delivery to confirm everything and was told by Mark that he would call me back which he never did. I had to continue to call all day for an update. Only to be called at 6:30pm to be informed my dining room set was out of stock. Please keep in mind the sales man told me when i placed the order in the store that everything was in stock. I specifically stated I needed both sets to be delivered on the same day and even asked him what day was good for the company and he said any day i choose. Moving foward my dining set came the next AFTER my living room set and at 9:30pm mind you it was a school day and my kids were asleep. I was told by the delvery guy that if i didnt take it he could not guarantee a delivery that same week. So i had no choice but to let him in and wait an hour for him to set the table up and noticed the chair was damaged. He told me he would take it back and bring my a replacement the next day. It has been a week and no call nor seat has been brought to my house. I called every day and continued to get the promise from Mark that the seat will come tomorrow and as of 12/21/16 no seat. I asked for a refund and for the dining room set to be picked up and Mark stated that since there was already a delivery and set up done i am stuck with it. Had i known this I would have made the driver take the dining set back with him and bring it back when the set was completed. All these workers are crooks and say anything to make their comision. I asked for the address for the CEO and Mark who is the manager did not know it. I asked for the store's tax id # and he did not know it either. I asked who owned the business and again he did not know. I even asked who pays him and he said he does not know cause he gets direct deposit. I asked him if there is a customer who had a complaint and wanted someone other than the workers in the store to take care of it who would he contact and he gave me his email and said he will foward it to someone. This is the worst customer service i have experienced. Had i know this i would never gone to this place.

I am highly upset and disappointed. I came into this location a week ago to make a purchase. I was assisted by Jason. Me & my fiancé picked out a sectional that we like, when I asked Jason he stated we could get the items the next day with no problem. After the grand total and fees were mentioned we decided to leave a deposit or layaway amount of $299. I explained to him we would be back next week to complete the payment and get the couch delivered to us. He said there would be no problem. I made a call on Thursday afternoon and spoke with Eddie, I told him that I would be coming in Sunday to complete the payment and if we could set up the delivery for the same day. He looked into the computer and stated the item wasn't even available. Once I became a little irritated at what he was telling me, he placed me on hold and came back and told me the item was available in the Bronx and that there would be no problem for Sunday as long as we were there early enough to meet delivery hours. He stated he will be there on Sunday himself and it will be taken care of. I told him I would hold him accountable if anything otherwise happened Sunday 10/2. He stated defensively that he won't be held accountable for anything. We arrived Sunday 10/2 @12:00pm. Before they even verified that our item was available , they took the remainder payment that we had left, we sat there waiting for them to say something to us, after a few back and forth on the employees behalf on the computer, they began to explain that our item was not available. They went on describing the wrong item to us so I had to walk through the store and show one of the salesman what our item looked like. Only to confirm to me that they do not have the item. I walked out the store to get some air and left my fiancé in the store because I'm 7 months pregnant and everything is overwhelming at the moment so I didn't want anyone to see me upset. My fiancé comes to get me to tell me that they cannot do anything for us and the earliest is Tuesday, we work and no one will be there to receive it! We both made work arrangements for this for today, Sunday 10/2. So we got our money refunded because at that point it was just ridiculous. I took today off thinking we would have our apartment set up with our couch only to be totally disappointed and let down. This is very unacceptable and not one apology from the sales man Jason who originally made the sale to us. I will be sure to spread the word about this horrible experience we received.

Dishonest Thieves.

Jeff the store manager is a dishonest crook. He lied about the price, the quality, and the delivery time. I shouldve known a man with no self discipline wasnt going to be truthful. His shoes were rundown and dusty, no shave, fat, sloppy, and unkept excuse of a man told me one price and another associate told me another, i told him i want good wood he gave me compressed cheap cardboard material. To top it off, I was promised "Same Day Delivery". The delivery never arrived. I had to wait till the delivery man was available again the following week. I will not recommend this place to no one.

I would like to tell everyone, please do not buy anything from them, because they lie for everything you going to ask. I bought tv stand and bedroom sets .and they charge me $200 for delivery. But delivery people didn't set up anything. They said thats not their job to fix it. Now im sueing them for false advertising. Please guys dont wate your money . Try different locations. Dont go to grand concourse location.

I hate this place

On March 12th 2016 we choose sofa bed , love seat and mattress. We paid full amount and were promised to have everything on March 31st . It didn't happen not on 31st , NOT in April !!! We got everything only on May 18th !!! in between March 31st and May 18th we were constantly lied , every week! -" coming tomorrow, next week , factory has problems , have no one to deliver " and so on...We finally received everything on May 18th we found huge , deep scratches in front of the sofa bed . I was about to cry when i saw it . Now, i don't know what to do .... I call the store again and they offer me coffee table or lamp as excuse . Can you imagine ?

Contact NYC Consumer Affairs, BBB & small claims court. This company is full of it & I am in the middle of an issue I am having with them now.

They do not even offer their last names because it is policy not to, which is unimaginable - any legit retail store employee is transparent but I am sure they have skeletons in the closet they do not want us to know or reveal.

Awful customer service and a joke of a company. Tried to get a technician out for four months for him to fail to turn up twice. Various people gave me excuses, vans breaking down, traffic etc. Pathetic. They never answer their phone either. Never even rang me to tell me the technician couldn't come despite me taking a day off work. I had to ring them to chase them several times in one day only to be met with excuse after excuse. Joke.
